The world has lost a great lady.  It's hard to believe that Lowell and Lois passed within a day of each other!  What a loss since they were both pillars in our community. I'll always admire Lois for her strength of character and her faith.  Sending prayers to the Douglas family for peace and comfort during your time of grief.

So sorry to hear of your loss  I had the privilege of being instrumental in the hiring of Lois and working with her as a customer engineer while in Rochester Lois was a very strong lady in any ways with a good sense of humor  and brings back lots of good memories...   Wayne Schottler  Helena Montana

My sympathy goes out to Lois's family at this sad time.  She took good care of you all through the years.

I just wanted to tell you that your mom and dad, as well as all of you kids, made our family feel so welcome when you had us all over to your place when we first moved to Byron. I will never forget your kindness and making us feel so welcome. Over the years we have seen so much of your mom and lucky occasionally to see you also. It was great that you had the chance to help and visit her when she needed you the most. God Bless you all and wish we could have visited with you. Kathy

Dear Lois’s Kids, we just wanted to say we’re so sorry about your Mom. She was one of the strongest, most independent people we have ever known! We both thought the world of her and she will be sadly missed. We were lucky to have known her and through her all of you. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Godspeed Lois, may angels lead you home.  Love Phil and Kim
