Condolences

The family of William V. Glassmaker, Sr. has received the following condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Una and family.  I met Bill thru work and remember how he used to come to our office most every day and talk Japanese to us.  We never knew quite what he was saying, but I think it was all good.  Will always remember his friendship.  RIP Bill

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Bill Glassmaker. His was a life well lived. He served his country with honor and distinction for 20 years, raised a wonderful family, was well liked and respected by everyone who crossed his path. He was a good and decent man of God. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Heaven has gained a very sweet very powerful new angel.  I got the chance to know Bill a little bit working at HyVee Barlow plaza for 12 years and never tried of trying to steal his hat.  He was always very patient with my antics, and reminded me a lot of my own father.  My sincerest sympathies to the family and I will definitely remember him in my prayers.  May he rest in peace.

Una and family.  I was so sad to hear his news.  Bill was such a kind, funny, special friend.  We worked together for so many years and remained friends long after that.  Blessings and sympathy to all of you especially Una.  I wish I could have been there to be with you, but I now live in Albert Lea and I am having to work.  Hugs to all of you.

Una, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.  Bill was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Gods blessings to you and your family

Dear Una and family, I just saw Bill's obituary that Lynn passed along.  I am so sorry to hear of your loss but knowing my dad as I do, he is there waiting to escort Bill in and enjoy visiting and traveling the spiritual wonders beyond.  I only had a few privileged visits with him in Vermont but dad always talked fondly of him and his visits with Bill and Una.

My mother, Marie E. Harding and I are very saddened for your loss. The service he gave to our country and the love he had for the entire family speaks volumes. Although we didn't get to meet him personally, we were fortunate to begin knowing him through his grandson Drew and my daughter Beth. We pray for your families as you are dealing with his loss, that our savior will continue to hold you all close and give you the unrealized inner strength in the coming days. love and prayers.
