Joan Lucretia Gregor
Joan L. Gregor, 87, of Byron, passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Marys Campus in Rochester on Monday, September 3, 2018 due to complications from a stroke.
Born April 19, 1931 in Mankato, Minnesota to Phillip and Anna Prybylla, Joan married Henry Gregor on September 16, 1961 and they made their home in Byron. She worked at Madonna Towers in Rochester as a nurse until her retirement. Joan loved camping and traveling, but most important to her was spending time with her family and close friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Henry, and her sister, Charlotte Wilder of Mankato. Survivors include her son, Paul (Sandra) of Byron; daughter, Ann (Kevin) Williams of Buffalo, MN, and grandchildren Drew (Carlee) Gregor of Apple Valley, MN; Angela Gregor of Chicago, IL; and Michael & Maren Williams of Buffalo, MN. She will be tremendously missed by her family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Byron with Rev. John Lasuba officiating; visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 on Thursday. Burial will be at Byron Cemetery following the service.
